Strategic Growth Intern

About the role:

The-Lowdown are on the lookout for an energetic and proactive Growth Intern to form a key part of our frontline sales team. Working in tandem with our Strategic Growth Director, you’ll be responsible for driving both inbound and outbound sales as The-Lowdown continues its expansion across the digital landscape.

We’re looking for someone who is not intimidated by outreach, can think for themselves and who isn’t afraid to take initiative within their role. You’ll be selling across a diverse product portfolio to businesses of all sizes, from sole traders to multi-national organisations, so a capacity to work autonomously and independently are beneficial.

You’ll have a keen interest in both the marketing and automotive sectors, paired with a hunger to develop into a core part of The-Lowdown team for years to come. Whilst this is an intern role in the initial term, there is a clear pathway for quick progression for the right candidate capable of integrating and adding ongoing value to the team.

This internship is part time (3 days a week) unpaid for 30 days, with the possibility to move into a paid internship position for another 30 days. Opportunity for the right candidate exists to be offered a part time position following the 60 days.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions in Sydney, initially the role will be remote, then placement will be in our South-West Sydney office at Oran Park.

 

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Identify & prospect new clients (including cold calling) to hit targets & KPIs

  • Effectively organise and manage your pipeline

  • Represent The-Lowdown Agency as an expert in marketing

  • Maximise revenue opportunities by up-selling based on existing client needs

  • Client relationship management

  • Produce pitch & proposal documents

  • Help evolve & shape the internal sales processes and systems

  • Be able to use CRM systems to log and manage sales activity

  • Work with the marketing team to create inbound sales campaigns

 

Here’s what you’ll look like:

  • You’ll have a strong interest/knowledge of the automotive and marketing spaces

  • You’re passionate, self-motivated and willing to make something your own

  • You have strong written communication and interpersonal interaction skills

  • You’ll present well and can both learn and talk through marketing strategies and concepts

  • You have a good work ethic and aren’t afraid to take initiative

  • You’re prepared to work as a team to find the best solutions to problems

  • You are digitally adept, with CRM experience a bonus

  • You’ll have full Australian work rights and a valid drivers license

  • Agency experience and marketing experience is also advantageous

PPC / SEM Specialist

We all started our careers at traditional agencies but soon realised that our ideas were best rolled out in a creatively-free environment. Fast forward to now, and we’re celebrating our 10th birthday.

Throughout our decade, we’ve been lucky enough to create some pretty cool campaigns and have been recognised as the preferred agency for many lifestyle brands.

About the role:

With our recent rapid growth, we’re looking for a PPC/SEM gun to join our team who has expertise and experience in delivering successful campaigns for an array of clients.

You will be the point of contact for all things PPC/SEM, working closely with our clients to achieve some amazing results.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about results with strong project management skills. You’ll be marketing across a diverse client portfolio to businesses of all sizes, from sole traders to multi-national organisations.

You might have experience working for an Agency, or you might come from outside of the industry, but you have a passion for and across the latest tactics in the world of PPC/SEM.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Develop, manage and optimise client PPC campaigns
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team and clients for each campaign
  • Effectively organise and manage your campaigns
  • Represent The-Lowdown Agency as an expert in PPC/SEM marketing
  • Client relationship management
  • Produce reports
  • Work closely with our Sales Team to develop proposals and strategies for new clients
  • Help evolve, shape and improve the internal PPC/SEM processes and systems

Here’s what you’ll look like:

  • You’ll have 3 – 5 years PPC/SEM experience with a proven record of successful campaigns
  • You’ll have experience with Google Ads, Google Shopping & YouTube
  • You’ll have experience with Facebook & Instagram Ads
  • You’ll know your way around Facebook Business Manager and have experience with Pixel Audiences
  • You’ll have experience with TikTok Ads
  • You can analyse the market and environment to determine trends and opportunities
  • You can forecast and report as well as develop PPC/SEM proposals and strategies
  • You’ll present well and can confidently talk through PPC/SEM strategies and reporting
  • Google AdWords & Analytics Certification is advantageous
  • HubSpot automation experience is advantageous
  • You’re passionate, ambitious and willing to make something your own
  • You’ll have full Australian work rights and a valid drivers license
